Response times begin from the date we receive your message. We may request additional information to verify your identity for privacy requests.


DMCA takedown notice

DancingPartners hosts user-generated content (UGC). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

If you believe that content on DancingPartners infringes your copyright, send a written DMCA takedown notice to:

Required elements of a valid DMCA notice

Your notice must include all of the following to be actionable:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, if multiple works are covered, a representative list).
  2. Identification of the infringing content — provide sufficient detail for us to locate it (e.g., the profile URL or username, approximate location in the app).
  3. Your contact information — name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
  4. A statement of good faith — "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  5. A statement of accuracy — "The information in this notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  6. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is sufficient for an email notice).

Incomplete notices may not be acted upon. False or fraudulent notices may expose the sender to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).

Counter-notification

If content you uploaded was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification by email to the same address. Your counter-notification must comply with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).
