Our community
DancingPartners is a dating and social-discovery app for adults who share a passion for Latin dance. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and authentic environment for everyone. These guidelines apply to all users and to all content shared through the app — profiles, photos, messages, and any other user-generated content ("UGC").
By using DancingPartners you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Age requirement
- You must be at least 18 years old to use DancingPartners.
- Do not include photos of minors (anyone under 18) in your profile or album, even if the minor is a family member.
- If you suspect a user is under 18, report them immediately using the in-app report button.
2. Be authentic — no catfishing or impersonation
- Use your real photos and accurate information about yourself.
- Do not use someone else's photos or videos — including celebrities, models, or other social-media accounts.
- Do not create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity, profession, location, or age.
- Do not use the app on behalf of another person without their explicit knowledge and consent.
We use on-device face-detection technology to help verify profile photos. Accounts that fail verification or show signs of impersonation may be suspended pending review.
3. Respect others — zero tolerance for harassment
- Treat every user with dignity and respect.
- Do not send unsolicited explicit messages, sexual content, or graphic imagery.
- Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or bully any user, inside or outside the app.
- Do not contact a user repeatedly after they have asked you to stop or after they have unmatched you.
- Do not make derogatory comments about a user's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
4. No explicit or illegal content
- Do not post sexually explicit photos, videos, or text in your profile or messages.
- Do not post content that depicts, promotes, or glorifies violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
- Do not share content that constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) under any circumstances. We report all suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement.
- Do not share content that infringes on intellectual-property rights (copyrighted photos, music, logos).
5. No solicitation or commercial activity
- Do not solicit money, gift cards, loans, or financial instruments of any kind from other users.
- Do not promote, advertise, or sell products, services, or external subscriptions.
- Do not recruit users for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, or escort services.
- Do not redirect users to external platforms with commercial intent.
6. No spam or automated behavior
- Do not send mass or repetitive copy-paste messages.
- Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with users or scrape data.
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban.
7. Protect personal contact information
- Do not share your own or anyone else's home address, phone number, financial account information, or government ID in the public chat until you have established sufficient trust with a match.
- We recommend transitioning to personal communication channels only after you feel safe doing so — read our Safety Tips first.
8. Reporting a user
If another user violates these guidelines:
- Open their Profile.
- Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner).
- Tap Report and select the appropriate reason.
- Add any additional details in the text field (optional but helpful).
- Tap Submit.
You can also block a user from the same menu. Blocking immediately stops all communication and removes them from your feed.
For urgent safety concerns — including threats, extortion, or CSAM — email us directly at developers@tenikopr.com with the subject Safety report.
We review all reports and take action within our standard moderation SLA. Reporters remain anonymous.
9. Enforcement
We take community safety seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may take the following actions:
| Action | When applied |
|---|---|
| In-app warning | First or minor violation; content removed |
| Content removal | Any violating photo, message, or profile element |
| Temporary suspension | Repeated violations or moderately serious single incident (duration: 24 hours to 30 days) |
| Permanent ban | Severe violations (e.g., harassment, CSAM, threats, catfishing) or repeated offenses after suspension |
| Law enforcement referral | Credible threats of violence, CSAM, or other criminal activity |
Permanent bans are irrevocable. No refund is issued for any unused subscription period when an account is banned for violating these guidelines.
Appeals: If you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, email developers@tenikopr.com with the subject Account appeal within 30 days of the action. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
10. Our responsibilities
We are committed to: - Reviewing reports in a timely manner. - Maintaining the confidentiality of reporter identities. - Improving our moderation tools and policies over time. - Complying with applicable laws regarding harmful content and child safety.
We do not pre-screen all content before it is posted but we respond to reports and conduct proactive monitoring.
