Community Guidelines
Effective date: April 27, 2026 Last updated: May 24, 2026
Our Community
DancingPartners is a dating and social-discovery app for adults who love to dance — any style, any level. We built this community around respect, authenticity, and the joy of dance. These guidelines apply to everything you share on DancingPartners — your profile, photos, messages, and any other content.
By using DancingPartners, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban.
1. Be 18 or Older
DancingPartners is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the App.
Do not include photos of anyone under 18 in your profile or messages, even if they are a family member. If you suspect a user may be under 18, please report them immediately using the in-app report button.
2. Be Yourself — No Catfishing or Impersonation
Use your real photos and honest information.
- Do not use photos of another person — whether a celebrity, a model, a friend, or anyone else.
- Do not misrepresent your age, location, profession, or any other aspect of your identity.
- Do not create a fake profile or use the App on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent.
- Do not claim affiliations or credentials you do not have.
We use on-device face-detection technology to help confirm that profile photos match the person using the account. Accounts that show signs of impersonation may be suspended pending review.
3. Treat Everyone With Respect
We have zero tolerance for harassment of any kind.
- Do not send unsolicited explicit messages, sexual content, or graphic imagery.
- Do not harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or bully any user — inside or outside the App.
- Do not contact someone repeatedly after they have asked you to stop or after they have unmatched you.
- Do not make derogatory comments about anyone's race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Every person on DancingPartners deserves to be treated with dignity, whether or not they are interested in connecting with you.
When you type a chat message, the App runs a content classifier on your device that checks for likely offensive, hostile, or threatening language. If it flags your draft, you'll see a warning dialog asking you to confirm or edit before sending. The warning is there to help you stay within these guidelines — please take it seriously.
Additionally, our servers automatically scan delivered messages against a curated list of prohibited words, phrases, and patterns. This check does not block your message, but flagged messages are reviewed by our moderation team. If you accumulate multiple flagged messages, our systems will automatically generate reports and may impose a device-level ban. Repeatedly sending messages that violate these guidelines — whether flagged by the on-device classifier, the server-side scanner, or reported by other users — will result in suspension or a permanent ban.
4. Keep It Real — No Spam or Fake Engagement
Authentic connections start with honest interactions.
- Do not send mass copy-paste messages or engage in any form of messaging spam.
- Do not use bots, automated scripts, or any non-human tools to interact with users or scrape data.
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban.
- Do not engage in repetitive, disruptive, or spammy behavior of any kind.
5. No Solicitation or Commercial Activity
DancingPartners is for finding dance partners and making connections — not for commerce.
- Do not ask other users for money, gift cards, loans, cryptocurrency, or any financial instrument.
- Do not promote, advertise, or sell products or services through the App.
- Do not recruit users for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing programs, or escort services.
- Do not redirect users to external platforms with commercial intent.
If someone on the App asks you for money for any reason, it is almost certainly a scam. Please report it.
6. No Explicit or Violent Content
- Do not post sexually explicit photos, videos, or text in your profile, album, or messages.
- Do not share content that depicts, glorifies, or promotes violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
- Do not share child sexual abuse material (CSAM) under any circumstances. We report all suspected CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to relevant law enforcement.
- Do not share content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
7. Respect Privacy and Personal Information
- Do not share another person's private information (home address, phone number, financial information, government ID) without their consent.
- Do not share photos or videos of another person without their knowledge and permission.
- Do not collect or attempt to collect personal information from other users outside of what they voluntarily share in their profiles or in chat.
- For your own safety, we recommend keeping personal contact details private until you have established sufficient trust with a match. Read our Safety Tips first.
8. Be Honest About Your Dancing
We're a dance community — skill ratings and dance-style preferences matter here.
- Represent your actual dance styles and skill level honestly in your profile.
- Do not misrepresent your experience to attract matches you may not be compatible with.
- Skill ratings from friends and matches are a community feature — do not manipulate or game the rating system.
9. No Hate or Discrimination
DancingPartners does not tolerate hate speech of any form.
- Do not post content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against any person or group based on race, ethnicity, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
- Do not use slurs, dehumanizing language, or symbols associated with hate groups.
- Do not fetishize or demean users based on any characteristic of their identity.
10. No Violence or Dangerous Behavior
- Do not threaten violence against any person or encourage others to commit violence.
- Do not share content that promotes or facilitates illegal weapons, drugs, or other dangerous activities.
- Do not engage in conduct — on or off the App — that puts other users at physical risk.
11. Protect Minors
The safety of minors is our highest priority.
- Never produce, share, or request sexually suggestive or explicit content involving anyone under 18.
- Do not attempt to contact minors through the App.
- Do not include minors in profile photos or media shared in the App.
We report all suspected CSAM to NCMEC and law enforcement. We do not warn users before making such reports.
DancingPartners complies with all applicable child-safety laws in the jurisdictions where it operates, including United States federal child sexual abuse material reporting requirements. These Community Guidelines, together with our enforcement and reporting practices, constitute our published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We maintain processes to prevent, detect, remove, and report CSAE, and we act on user reports of suspected child endangerment without delay. To report a child-safety concern outside the app, email developers@tenikopr.com with the subject "Child safety report."
12. Follow the Law
- Use DancingPartners only for lawful purposes.
- Do not use the App to facilitate any illegal activity, including but not limited to fraud, extortion, human trafficking, or illegal discrimination.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
13. Maintain a Positive Environment
Small things matter. Help keep DancingPartners a welcoming place.
- Be kind and thoughtful in how you communicate, even when you are not interested in a connection.
- Unmatching is always an option — you never owe anyone a response.
- Constructive feedback and honest communication make this community better for everyone.
Reporting
If a user violates these guidelines, please report them:
- Open their Profile.
- Tap the three-dot menu (top-right corner).
- Tap Report and select the reason.
- Add any additional details and tap Submit.
You can also block a user from the same menu. Blocking immediately removes them from your feed and stops all communication.
For urgent safety concerns — including threats, extortion, or CSAM — email developers@tenikopr.com with the subject "Safety report." Your identity as a reporter remains confidential.
Consequences
We take our guidelines seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency of a violation, we may take the following actions:
| Action | When applied |
|---|---|
| Content removal | Any content that violates these guidelines |
| Warning | Minor or first-time violation after content removal |
| Temporary suspension | Repeated violations or a moderately serious single incident (24 hours to 30 days) |
| Permanent account ban | Severe violations — including CSAM, harassment, threats, repeated catfishing, or fraud — or repeated offenses after suspension |
| Permanent device ban | Repeated abusive messaging confirmed by multiple user reports or automated moderation flags, multi-account evasion of a prior ban, or any conduct in the "Permanent account ban" row above. Device bans may be imposed automatically by our systems when a user accumulates a significant number of content violations. A device ban prevents creating new accounts on the same device. |
| Law enforcement referral | Credible threats of violence, CSAM, fraud, or other criminal activity |
Permanent bans are not reversed in cases of severe violations. No refund is issued for unused subscription time when an account is banned for violating these guidelines.
Appeals: if you believe your account was suspended or banned in error, email developers@tenikopr.com with the subject "Account appeal" within 30 days of the action. We will review and respond within 10 business days.
